struggling + frustrations = weight loss??

I have really been struggling this past week with weight watchers. I've been having a hard time deciding what to eat and tracking everything that I eat. Its becoming somewhat of a nuisance per say. I've gone out to dinner a couple of times and not exercised as much as I should. I know I need to be better and I know that I CAN do it, its just trying to get the motivation back that is really really hard lately. I don't plan on quitting this "life changing experience" mind you, because I've come this far...I know I will succeed eventually. If you have any "new" or "really good recipes" you would like to share feel free to do so, or something healthy and easy for lunch and dinner would work too. I hppe that I can get past this little "BUMP" in the road and do good next week.

With all of that in mind, when I weighed in last night I lost 2.2 pounds. YEAH! I have no idea how I did it, but it felt good to know that I did something right somewhere. So I have now lost a grand total of 17.4 pounds! :)

Vantage..

Today is my 2 year anniversary being at my current job(vantage). Can I just say that I LOVE my job! :) Everything about it is so awesome. I really enjoy what I do every day and I really enjoy working with all of the people, everyone is so nice. With the price of gas lately I can't wait until we move into the new building that is a little closer to home. :) I really don't enjoy getting up every morning for work as I am definetely not a morning person, but since I like what I do and everything else that comes with it....it is so worth it! Thanks Bethie for putting in a good word for me! :)

Lake Powell pics!!

I apologize for taking so long to post the pics of my trip to Powell. Its just been a crazy busy week trying to get caught up on things. I think I am finally getting over the "boat head" feeling. I don't wish that feeling upon anyone! The trip was a blast and I wish we could of stayed longer as we had a couple of really windy and cool days. We caught alot of fish,did alot of swimming and just had a great time!! :) Enjoy the pics....

Boat Head..

I've been on a houseboat and a power boat for 5 days. I think I'm still at Lake Powell and I think I am still on them boats. As we speak, I'm feeling a little dizzy and the room will not stop spinning! I can feel myself swaying back and forth, meaning i'm still on the water, right?? I hope this feeling ends soon....

Lake Powell..

Well,bright and early tomorrow morning...I mean REAL early (3:30a.m.)yuck! I will be on my way to Lake Powell. YAY..I'm really excited! Going down with my mom and brother, his fiance and all the kiddos. I heard the weather is going to be great! :) Pictures and more blogging of my trip to come.....

Moms Day..

My mom probably never reads my blog,but I just want her to know how much I love her and appreciate her for everything that she does.
Taking a look back at my years when I was growing up, I remember my mom always used to make mine and my brothers clothes,whether it was for school or just for play. I thought we were pretty in style with the lacey collars and the iron on patches for the back pockets of our pants. I kind of giggle about it now, but back then we were pretty cool! :) My mom has taught me so many things, not only now but in the past as well. I'm more patient, more forgiving and a better person because of her. She would do anything for you, no matter how little time she has to do it in. Thanks mom for all you do! Happy Mothers day!!
