We did Thanksgiving a little different this year. We decided to go south to Mesquite, Nevada and to warmer weather. We had dinner at Cindy and Ron's Thursday night. Cindy and Ron is Staceys mom and step-dad for those of you that don't know and Stacey is my sister-in-law. Everything was delicious of course and I ate way too much!! Here are some pics from the weekend.

The boys-Kolbey,Colby, Kasey and Tanner--I couldn't get a pic without them pulling some sort of face!

I love this picture of my mom and Brittany. It only took about 3 times to get my mom to actually smile, sort of.

Michelle,Courtney and Stacey visiting with family and friends.

Here is dad, mom and Kim and they are all pretty much smiling. WOW!

After dinner we went back to the motel and hung out for a while and just relaxed. We went to the Casino for a little bit and lost $5.00. Yeah we are not big gamblers, what can we say.

~Friday~

We slept in for awhile because we were all exhausted from the trip down and all the Yummy food. We couldn't find the rest of the fam for breakfast so we skipped that and went to lunch and we found them at the same resteraunt anyways..haha!

We went and watched the boys play some miniture golf. We walked about 2 blocks and went to get tickets for this movie:

I thought the movie was just OK. I wasn't as dissapointed as I thought I would be, but I didn't love it either. I thought there was alot of "cheesy" parts and I didn't like Bella in the movie. She bothered me more in the book than in the movie, but I think they could of casted a much better "Bella". And of course the book is ALWAYS better than the movie.
After the movie we headed back up to Cindy and Ron's for leftovers. I think everything is so much better the day after. :) We visited with the fam for awhile, had some cake in celebration of mom and dads anniversary and then all the kiddos were getting anxious to do some bowling. Bethie and I didn't really want to bowl, so we went to see how much the movie was that was playing in the same casino. It was only $2.00 and this is what we saw again:
Love, Love, Love this movie!! Makes me want to get up and sing and dance! :)

~Saturday- Vegas Baby!!~

Here is Brittany and I inside The Luxor . I think this hotel is amazing and it was way pretty inside with all the festive lights.

We made our way over to the MGM Grand where we actually got lost inside and coud not, for the life of us, find our way out..haha! Not only did we get lost but we picked a day when the Jonas Brothers were in town. OMG I have never seen so many teenage girls in all of my life in one area. It was insane!!
New York New York
- my favorite hotel in Vegas!

M&M Factory - 4 floors of nothing but M&M fun!! And yes, you can even see how these delish candies are made. :)

The wall of M&M's in every color imagineable.

What would be a post without a cheesey picture? Haha

After walking all the way up to Caesars Palace I was exhausted!! I don't think my feet and my legs were ever going to be the same, but there was something here that Bethie and I wanted to see.

I think I worked up an appetite when I saw this beauty of a sign. I would have loved to eat here. Maybe someday...

The moving statues. This is where the water and light show took place. It was pretty cool.

Ahhh Paris.. One of these days I will go and see the "real" Eiffel Tower, but until then, this is as good as it gets. It is beautiful at night when its all lit up.

We finally made it back down to the beautiful Bellagio where we waited in anticipation for the amazing fountains. They were being played to the sounds of Chistmas. :)

Bethie and Brittany before the fountains started.

Love this picture of the fountains.

After a long day of walking we were ready to head back to Mesquite to get some well needed rest for the trip home the next day. I was sad to see it come to an end because we had a fun trip, but then I was happy to be going home and back to a familiar environment. It was a great vacation that I will always remember :)
I hope you all had a fun and Happy Thanksgiving!!
