1 Year!!

Oh man..this is kind of a bittersweet post for me. It has been 1 year since I started weight watchers. Even though there have been times when I have struggled with my weight fluctuating (sp?) up and down so much, I will have to say that this journey has been worth it!!

When I started weight watchers I knew that I was in this not only to lose the weight, but to totally change the way that I eat. I also knew that this would be a life changing experience. I mean I'm not going to lie...but there are times when I have chocolate or I have a piece of pie/cake, but I also know that I have to get right back into it after I have that treat. I guess that Is a good thing, because I know that I cannot live without a piece of chocolate and I do have moments when I need it. But I also know that I can't do that ALL the time. Ok...I know I am rambling here...

Anyways...I am really glad that I started Weight watchers and I wouldn't change anything. I can't believe how far I have come and I know that I couldn't have done this without Bethie. Thank you Bethie for everything!! :) I look forward to another year of weight loss and reaching my goal!

Twilight perfume

Have you ever wanted to smell like Bella Swan? Well now you can...

HaPpY NeW YeAr!!!

WOW!! I can't believe how fast 2008 went! It seems like it was just January of last year. Why does time have to go so fast?

We spent time on New Years eve at my brothers house this year. We had a blast!! A couple of years ago, we were given fondue pots for Christmas. So on New Years eve this year we decided to get all the pots together for New Years eve and have ourselves a fondue party. :) Ohhh it was delish!! We had everything from chicken, lamb, shrimp, buffalo, beef and bread. We had several pots of oil going for the meats, but the bread was being dipped in a delicious cheese consisting of imported swiss and grier. Oh it was sooo good!! We also had a fondue pot filled to the rim with non other than....chocolate! Ah yes! I was in heaven..haha! We had different kinds of fruit to dip in the chocolate as well as some pretzels, which were my favorite. :) You really have to work for your food...haha but it is so much fun!

After a nice dinner, its always nice to just relax and enjoy each others company.
Here is Bethie, Lacie and Stacey
Colby brought his rock band over to play, so we had a little band going. It was pretty fun!
Here is Kim on vocals, Kasy on bass and I was playing the guitar.
Check out my concentration..haha!

Kasey on drums and Brittany was singing her heart out.

Big Colby and Little Kolbey were really getting into it. It was fun to watch.

Here is a video of the kids in action. Check out Kolbey and Colbys guitar playing. They are amazing. I think they should start a "garage" band. What do you think?

We ended the evening by counting down to the new year. Colby lit a few fireworks and we made some noise by banging a few pans. :) I look forward to what lies ahead for 2009. I hope you all had a Happy New Year!

Christmas!

Christmas came and went so fast this year I could not believe it. Instead of being alone on Christmas eve, I spent the night at mom and dads. It was pretty mellow this year because my brother didn't have his kids this year for Christmas morning. It was fun though, and I enjoyed spending some time with my parents. The kids didn't come until later in the afternoon, so I pretty much relaxed, watched some tv, read a book, and took a nap until they arrived. I didn't get many pictures this year because Kim,Stacey and the kids still had to open gifts at their house together as a family so they didn't stay too long at moms.

We always seem to go overboard with gifts on Christmas because we have such a small family, but this year we decided to do family gifts instead. I think it worked out great

Colby,Tanner & Stacie

These 2 are growing up way too fast! I feel so old and wish that i could shrink them down in size and age. I love them so much. :)

Because we got so much snow, Kolbey and I decided to go outside and build a snowman. Its been years since I've built one. Kolbey was so dang cute. He gave the snowman so much character. Thanks Kobs for being such a great sport. Love you!
Here is our finished snowman. Isn't he so cute? And Brittany has to totally ruin our picture by being the scene stealer. HaHa..Thanks alot Brit!!

For family gifts my parents gave Kim, Stacie and the kids as well as Bethie and I a Wii. We were so excited. I also got a wii fit from Kim, Stacey and the kids. After dinner mom and I headed over to Kims house because they had theirs set up. Holy cow..I can't believe how fun it is!! Its amazing what it it can do really. We even got my mom to play a couple of games and she really enjoyed it. Way to go Mom!! :)
Here is Stacie playing some baseball.

And Tanner and Colby really got into the boxing. It really is quite the workout, so much that they head sweat dripping off of their forheads...haha!! Check out Tanners arm..its nothing but a blur.

It was a great Christmas even though it is still kind of a blur because it is over so quick. I enjoyed my time spent with my awesome family. I missed Bethie alot though. I look forward to seeing her on Sunday. :)

I hope you all had a great and memorable Christmas.

A little bit of dust never hurt anyone.....

I think that the angels got a little behind on their dusting up above, and decided to make yesterday their cleaning day...haha! Seriously though, we got some major snow. Don't get me wrong, I love it...but I have a hard time with the cold. It pretty much started snowing around 9 am and didn't stop until around 4ish. Yeah..it was pretty crazy.
Sorry for the random picture taking of cars. I really didn't have much to take a picture of since I was at work. :)

The company truck covered in snow!

Bethies car covered in snow!

You can really see how much we got in this picture..I would say around 8-10 inches!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
